Since launching our SOUND NUT Series loudspeakers, we have been delighted with the response we’ve had from customers who really like the high-quality audio delivered by these pendant speakers, especially in acoustically challenging environments.
Customers also like being able to customise the look of these high-quality speakers to suit the installations they are supplying. The main part of the enclosure is available in black or white, but the upper part can be personalised using a hydro dipping paint technique. This allows customers to choose not only the colour they want, but also a simulated textured such as wood or stone.
One company making good use of the SOUND NUT Series is VIDEOCENTTRIC LTD., an award-winning end to end UK solutions integrator for both the private and public sectors. After being introduced to the range by our local distributor, POLAR UK, VIDEOCENTTRIC successfully used SOUND NUT 400W SN8 speakers for two projects, with 14 and 18 speakers.
VIDEOCENTTRIC‘s technical team thoroughly evaluated the SN8 speakers before use and agreed they met all the requirements for both projects. These included features such as voice intelligibility and musical clarity, particularly in acoustically challenging environments where high ceilings were creating reverberant sound fields.
Key to VIDEOCENTTRIC choice was WORK PRO SOUND NUT’s ability to deliver good dispersion, clear and precise audio and 100V and low impedance. The company also needed the audio to work in multiple zones of large, multi-use/configurable spaces and have an attractive modern design that would work discreetly against black and white ceilings.

For the main installation that required 18 speakers, VIDEOCENTTRIC powered the system using a WORK PRO PA 4150L amplifier. Six further SN8 speakers were used in a separate area, and these were powered by a WORK PRO PA 2120L amplifier.
For second SN8 installation utilised a WORK PRO PA 4150L to power speakers in three separate rooms. Two channels were used for the main room, which has eight speakers, and a single channel was used for the other two areas with two and four speakers respectively.
WORK PRO SOUND NUT Series range includes four loudspeaker models with co-axial drivers: SN10 (10-inch 500W), SN8 (8-inch 400W), SN6 (6-inch 250W) and the SN3 (3-inch 60W).. There is also the SN8 SUB (8-inch subwoofer 1000W), that can be incorporated into any system when there is a need for low frequency enhancement.
